SEMESTER-TWO

Quarter 3

QUARTER 4

 MACBETH REFLECTION

A tragedy is a play dealing with tragic events and having an unhappy ending, naturally entailing the downfall of the main character, while a tragic hero is a character who makes a judgement error that inevitably leads to their downfall.

Macbeth definitely fits the description of a tragedy as it deals with Macbeth and his ongoing murders and unraveling self-conscious. Macbeth himself falls under the category of tragic hero as he commits murder for the first time which leaves him paranoid leading to insanity and a murderous rampage.
